Magazine Pitch Feedback and Video

As you can see this is my Pitch/Proposal that i had to do.

This is the audience feedback that i had received. 

• Make target audience specific 

• Change colour scheme to more colour full

• Make magazine not cheap as it makes the audience look different from the others

• Keep the name short 

• Overlapping h's is a good idea as it will catch audiences attention have it as big bright colours

Evaluation of feedback 

• Firstly was the price of the magazine from all the feedback that i have received i have changed my mind and turned the magazine into £4 as i was given this idea from the audience

• then i thought of different alternative colours that i should use instead of black and white so i had the idea to use blue and pink but then blue would not match with my cover stars clothing therefore i had to change the colour again to a nude and pink colour. 

• from the feedback i received i kept the name of my magazine still as Hype Hits but as the audience liked the idea of 2 H's overlapping i choose to use this idea. 

Using Adobe Illustrator

today i learnt how to use illustrator. the features that i have learnt to use are how toadd text and how to create borders so i can change how the letters look. moreover i learnt how to add shaped and images on the the Adobe Illustrator. i have learnt a very unique feature today that i really like is how to make a image look like the text i really loved this feature and i will definitely use this in the near feature. however i did struggle with using the app at first but with a bit more practice i found it quite easy.

Starting My Proposal

i still need to add images and start a prezi which i havent done so but i will finish my proposal of soon. and i will have to do research on how i should make my magazine look like, moreover i need to include a flat plan on my magazine.

EVALUATION FOR COLLEGE MAGAZINE

for my evaluation i am going to talk about many points about my finished college magazine. the points i will be talking about are what i did to achieve my finished product and how i done it, talk about what was good and what was bad, talk about the comments on my blog of what people thought about my finished college magazine and finally how i could have improved my college magazine.

i wanted to achieve a professional look to my magazine as it would have attracted many people on to reading it. This is because many people still judge a book by its cover, hence why i wanted my magazine to stand out from the others and make mine the unique magazine. i have approached this finished magazine by using PHOTOSHOP CS6, i used Photoshop for my main cover page as this was the most easiest software to use to get a more professional outcome from a task. using this software was a big success as i did have some background knowledge on how to use Photoshop however my knowledge for Photoshop was quiet limited. and for the contents page i had to use indesign because it was the most appropriate software to use for a contents page this is because indesign have many unique features the Photoshop doesn't have. such as on indesign u can work on multiple pages at one for example if you have a double page spread you can work on both on 1 paper as its work efficient. the things that i believed was good is that i have used a good colour scheme which consists of blue and yellow, this is because as its a college magazine i decided to stick to our college logo and our college logo consists of these 2 colours so i believe this was a really good decision that i made. however when i used the yellow its really hard to see so that was a bad decision. many people have commented all positive comments such as saying the colour scheme is really good. however someone also said that i should have added a price this could be one of my 3 improvements that i could have made. my other improvements i could have done is changed the yellow to a darker shade so its easier to see, moreover i could have used a better camera for a more clearer image which would have made my college magazine even more appealing.

Using Photoshop

Today i was asked to get a picture of a celebrity of my choice and use that image on photoshop to create a front cover for my practice magazine. today i have learnt many features on how to insert image and text. this was very easy as i have used photoshop before. i have not finished my task due to insufficient time, however i will add a barcode and the date and issue number in the future.
